Talk to the four-faced Buddha with your heart

(Singapore)

In 2004 I was a poor, near penniless man, 32 yrs old then, with a family to feed. I went around looking for jobs and always ended up with none. Miraculously, I am now a chairman of a food chain in Singapore, living in a comfortable home and blessed with a wife to be assisting my business.

That year, I went to a four face Buddha temple on a small hill somewhere near the Singapore General Hospital to pray. I remember telling him that if one day I make it big in the food business (I sold my flat to start this business), I will fly to Bangkok to pray at the Erawan Shrine to thank him.

Guess what? I made it. My business expanded and it’s still growing. There is no special "technique" in praying effectively. But I am very, very sure it definitely works if you speak to him slowly, sincerely and truthfully, like a son to a dad. Don’t go to him only when you got trouble, go to him whenever you miss him.

I fly to Bangkok almost 4-5 times a year if time permits. The irony is I don’t even know how to cook but I am doing well in the food business. I have capable, honest and efficient staff who has been through thick and thin with me, strong backers and a wife to be who lessens my work load. I believe it’s the four faced Buddha who helped me.

I hope my real life encounter brings hope to readers out there! I hope that one day we, believers of the four faced Buddha, can meet at the Erawan Shrine and go for a cup of coffee after our prayers, all on me.

My belief and trust in the four-faced Buddha
by: LWP

I am staying in Singapore and I have been to Bangkok many times, passed by the Erawan Shrine many times but never stopped to pray.

Lately, life has been one upset followed by another and I was really depressed. Went to a temple in Singapore to seek advise and was told that the four-faced Buddha is my hope and my saviour. Went to another and was told the same thing.

As I was about to travel to Bangkok again, I did what I was told, go and pray to the 4-faced Buddha. Miracle or no miracle, I felt very good after the prayer and felt peace and harmony.

I was in Bangkok as a member of a team to negotiate a business proposition. In Singapore, I continue to pray to the four-faced Buddha. Apart from being calmer and being able take things in their stride, I'm beginning to feel that my prayers have been answered.

Though, no great wealth flowed in, I managed to get by month after month with more successes in work. I'm grateful for all the changes that are happening and I continue to pray to the four-faced Buddha with or without problems and seek the Lord's guidance and blessing.

I'm interested to meet with other people who firmly believe in the four-faced Buddha and share our beliefs.

Good idea
by: Anonymous

Hi

Good idea. I did not wish for others but to be with my ex. For my career, I am still OK with my workload and do a little part time online business. Although coping with two jobs may be tough, I think not as tough as those workers who work under the hot sun.

I mean good idea. I also wish to join in but my wishes haven't come true.

Thank you

JJL
