Government House map
the road to the House of Gold

The Government House map shows the location of Annibale Rigotti's creation in Phisanulok Road in the Dusit district, Bangkok, an area steeped in history with several royal palaces, past and present.

However, the official address of Government House is Nakhon Pathom Road that's perpendicular to Phisanulok Road.

Please see the interactive Government House map.

Phisanulok Road is an extension of Petchaburi Road that comes from the Pratunam junction. As you approach Government House, the Royal Turf Club is on your right.

There're no skytrain or subway services here. The following air-conditioned bus services pass Government House:

No. 16 from Surawongse Road – Siam Square

No. 50 from Lumphini Park – Mah Boon Krong

No. 505 from Lumphini Park - Central World Plaza – Pratunam

For security reasons, Government House is closed to the public though you can admire the building from outside the fence.

Here are some of the other Bangkok Legacies in the vicinity:

King Rama V Equestrian Monument

Ananda Samakhom Throne Hall

Dusit Garden

Wat Benjamabophit the famous Marble Temple built in the reign of King Rama V.

For the historical background to this building by Annibale Rigotti, please see Government House.
