The King Taksin Monument map provides a set of interactive satellite and street maps of the area to guide you to the monument at Wong Wian Yai on the Thonburi bank of the Chao Phraya River, Bangkok. To get there, you’ll have to cross the Taksin Bridge at the end of South Sathorn Road over to Krung Thonburi Road and turn right at Somdet Phra Chao Taksin Road. Here’s the map of the overall area showing the location of the monument (left pointer) in relation to the Taksin Bridge (right pointer). View Larger Map This is a detailed coverage of the area around Wong Wian Yai. Wong Wian Yai, literally the big roundabout, is at the junction of Somdet Phra Chao Taksin Road and Prachathipok Road. Though Thonburi is on the west bank of the Chao Phraya, it’s still administratively part of Bangkok. The King Taksin Monument is at the center of the traffic roundabout.
