The entrance to Wat Saket is at Boriphat Road the road along the east bank of the Banglampu – Ong Ang Canal. Wat Rachanatdaram is near the junction just behind the park opposite Fort Mahakarn. The Metal Castle can be seen from the main road. Wat Thepthidaram is about 300 m further down Maha Chai Road, opposite the century old Fort Mahakarn community. The King Rama VII Museum and the old Fort Mahakarn are within walking distance. The second canal ring, Banglampu – Ong Ang Canal dissects this area and the Mahanak Canal, an east-west canal built later, starts from here and extents into the modern city center.
