Walking Street map
the dragon's belly in Chinatown Bangkok

The Walking Street map of Chinatown Bangkok covers the streets from the start point near the Si Phraya Pier, the historical buildings in the city, the Sampheng market in Soi Wanit 1 and Saphan Han.

If Yaowarat Road looks like a dragon weaving through the heart of Chinatown Bangkok, Walking Street is the dragon's belly.

As the area is quite large, I've divided the map into two sections. The first section covers the start point, Holy Rosary Church, the Talad Noi branch of the Siam Commercial Bank and Wat Pathum Khong Kha.

Please see the first section of the interactive map below. Click on the pointers for the major landmarks along the way.

How to get there

The best way to get there is to take the skytrain to the Taksin Bridge station. The Sathorn Pier is just below the bridge. From there take a Chao Phraya River boat to the Si Phraya Pier.

From Wat Pathum Khong Kha proceed along Song Wat Road and Soi Wanit 1 then on to Sampheng market. Soi Wanit 1 and the Sampheng market will continue on to Chakkrawat Road. Cross Chakkrawat Road and you'll enter Saphan Han.
